Lauren Shafer PT, DPT

Lauren Shafer received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northern Arizona University in 2010. While attending NAU, she was involved in work in the Gait and Biomechanics Research Lab and was named Distinguished Physical Therapy Student of the Year in 2010. She has been involved with the Long Term Manual Therapy and Clinical Reasoning Course since 2010, evolving from student to instructor. Lauren began her career with Fearon Physical Therapy, adopting and implementing the clinical reasoning model early on in the application of manual therapy and exercise. She brings a unique perspective to courses as she is part of the younger generation of physical therapy and understands the perspectives of those learning these concepts for the first time and can articulate concepts in an apt way.

Lauren specializes in manual therapy and exercise for the spine and extremities. Lauren currently practices in Williams, AZ at the local North Country Healthcare clinic. She is also an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy.
